“I grew up living Feng Shui. I experienced the Chinese tradition of worship and Feng Shui while assisting my father who administered the oldest operating Chinese temple in America.”
"After working jobs as a Deputy Regional Director of the 13 western states in the U.S and as a Regional Director for Northern California, in the field of human services, I decided to practice Feng Shui full time."

This journey began as a child, living Feng Shui in the Chinese community of Marysville, California.
Sam Fow or Third City as Marysville was called, was one of the largest Chinese communities outside of China. It houses the longest operating Taoist temple in the United States, the Bok Kai Mui.
The temple’s name Bok Kai Mui, translates to, Temple by the North Side of the Stream. It was erected to honor the water god, Bok Eye, or Hsuan-Tien Shang-Ti, Lord of the Black Pavilions of Heaven. Several other deities share the temple, including Kuan Yin, Goddess of Compassion and Ts’ai Shen, the God of Wealth, whose powers control time and the process of construction and destruction.
The Chinese believe that the proper manipulation of water chi can bring protection and good fortune. Therefore, the Bok Eye was placed at the confluence of the Feather and Yuba Rivers in the position of the North, the direction associated with water. The intent was to control irrigation waters for good harvests and to protect the city's inhabitants from the perils of flooding. Marysville, surrounded by a basin of water, has never flooded since erecting the Bok Kai Mui in the late 1800s. In contrast, all surrounding cities at one time or other, have met with this fate.
Such success is attributed to mastering the Water Dragon’s cosmic breath. It is no wonder that many residents of the region, most of whom are not Chinese, believe in the power of Bok Eye. The temple gained international acclaim in Asia and as a result, Marysville became the sister city to Taipei.
People have travelled from all over the world to worship in the temple, be blessed by the gods and observe the legend of the temple's history.
It is this tradition that I bring to my practice. My work ethic and value systme is deeply rooted in my heritage and faith.
