"In late 2002, Pat advised and helped to run a statewide, high stakes, high profile election campaign in California for our organization. We ran an unknown candidate for a position on the Board of Directors in this hotly contested election. The seat was for an organization that invests billions of dollars and affects over 300,000 people. There were 3 candidates and over 50,000 people voted. We did not have the history and experience to conduct such a campaign. No one in the state thought we could win and neither did we. Initially, our goal was simply to make a noble effort.
Pat directed a large part of the campaign. In the course of doing so, she implemented numerous feng shui treatments and asked many on the team to do a few things too. While many of us did not understand the significance of Feng Shui, we not only agreed but had fun doing it. The Feng Shui elements helped pull the campaign team together and gave us all a sense of competitive purpose. To our amazement and that of everyone else, we won and we won BIG! We defeated the main candidate by a two to one margin.
Did we win because of Feng Shui or because of good work? We think both, but clearly the feng shui played an important role in the victory. We are sure that leadership, the strength of our team, as well as Pat's skill in campaign techniques helped us to win. Feng Shui worked for us and was fun. We'd use it again in a heartbeat!"
