WHAT IS FENG SHUI?

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese geomantic science of living in harmony with the environment. Feng Shui energizes one's life to enhance prosperity and abundance.

Feng Shui interprets the influences of the heavenly forces on human life and earth. The cycle of the seasons and movement of the planetary system create natural laws and energy patterns that affect our well-being and fortune. These energy patterns are associated with the five element phases of Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal.

The balance of element energies and how they act and react to one another helps make life smooth, harmonious, and joyful, or if out of balance, it brings harm, conflict, and disharmony. This difference greatly affects success, creativity, innovation, and growth in individuals and companies.

The Way of Chi

Feng Shui literally means Wind and Water. CHI, or life-force energy, is manifested through the movement of wind and water. The art of Feng Shui is the proper siting, orienting, designing and placement of buildings and interiors to be in alignment with nature's laws. Aligning ourselves with the natural laws of the earth increases prosperity during the good times and reduces the impact of negative forces during the hard times.

FENG SHUI IN THE WEST

We know the power of CHI when entering buildings that make us feel good, or when taking a vacation in Hawaii or the Caribbean. We know it when unexpected good fortune drops in our laps. In western terms it is, "Hit the Jackpot....Going with the flow...The Gods are with us...The stars are aligned..... " The extreme side of CHI is Katrina, the Tsunami and earthquakes.

On a scientific level, the discipline of Feng Shui is called Geomantic Science or Quantum Physics. In modern day it translates to computing weather patterns, using scientific equipment to foresee earthquakes, calculating hurricanes, and estimating the outcome global warming. We prepare by building structures and shields to withstand turbulence and protect ourselves.

THE FIVE ELEMENTS

WHICH ELEMENT ARE YOU?

The 8 Mansions Formula & 8 Aspirations of Life

Who Uses Feng Shui in the West?

THE FIVE ELEMENTS

Chinese people believe the universe evolves and reacts, based on phases of the five elements, Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. Each element manifests life-force energy in different ways and affects everything around us. The elements produce, control or destroy one another depending on their balance or imbalance. This interaction brings positive or negative influences that help or hurt human life.

The life-force energy of the elements is at the core of Acupuncture, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Feng Shui and it is the thread that ties them together.

Three kinds of luck influence our lives. Heaven Luck is determined at our time of birth when the elements exist in varying degrees. The balance of each element defines our personalities and degree of success in life. This is our destiny DNA or code. Earth Luck is the Feng Shui. Human Luck is determined by our values, virtues and character.

My goal with Feng Shui, is to align the trinity of these luck planes -- Human, Earth and Heaven.

Chi Inside the Home

How does Chi move inside the dwelling? Chi reacts to color, light, sound, temperature, smell and movement. It is like the senses, it follows activity, what you see, feel, hear, smell and taste. If you watch a party, you will see how people move. They move according to what draws them to a certain spot --- to eat because it nourishes them, to drink because they thirst, to meet people because they want to be social or meet a partner, to hug a friend because they want to be touched, to follow the beauty of a woman or the handsomeness of a man because it pleases them, to smell a rose because of its fragrance. Decorate your space with this in mind.
